Andrea Jenkyns MP: Conservative Party Conference 2022

This month, I attended the Conservative Party Conference. This event gave me the opportunity to showcase the Government’s ambitious skills and training agenda.

Under our plan for education, this Government will provide the foundational skills and core training initiatives for learners across the country to reach their fullest potential and lead a successful career in technical and specialist fields.

In this video, you will see me speaking on the main stage with my junior ministerial colleagues. At this event, I outlined my own Ministerial brief as Minister for Skills within the Department for Education.

Throughout conference, I also attended several other speaking events, to talk about all things education. This included UK Onward’s ‘Training for tomorrow’ roundtable event, and ‘Bridging the Gap: High Quality Education For All’ hosted by The Centre for Social Justice.
