Success: Resident's Petition Helps End Puppy Smuggling

Last year, residents and I put together a petition calling for a ban on the importation of puppies and kittens under the age of six months after Brexit. 

I delivered this petition to the Department for the Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs in January. You can read about this by clicking HERE

I have now received a brilliant response from the Secretary of State outlining that the Government is determined to end the puppy smuggling trade by adopting a zero tolerance approach to the misuse of the pet travel rules.
