Success: Government Action on Trophy Hunting

As you may know, I am a passionate advocate for animal rights and the increase of protections for animal welfare. 

In May, I wrote to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Michael Gove, to raise the findings in a report from The Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting to the Government's attention. 

I am pleased that following my letter, the Minister held a roundtable discussion to discuss this issue with stakeholders and that the Government is reviewing existing surrounding trophy hunting and its impact on species.
