I hope everyone is well!
In this last month, Parliament has returned from recess and it has been great to be back getting stuck in - and I have kept busy locally meeting residents and hosting events.
I am pleased to invite all residents to my upcoming Mature & Senior Citizens Fair which will be held on the 8th of October at Morley Town Hall between 10am and 2pm, please do come along and spread the word.
There will be a wide range of useful stall holders local people can chat to about transport, hobbies & interests, security & support, and other advice!
This month I held another of my regular Jobs, Skills, & Apprenticeships Fairs - this time in the White Rose Shopping Centre.
A huge thank you to all the fantastic local employers large and small for attending and speaking with local people about their next opportunity!
I was pleased to see so many attending and hearing from stall holders who told me that they had taken many names and applications there on the day!
Really enjoyed my visit to The Morley Academy at the start of their new school year this month, where I saw the new Chinese Language Centre and presented a Show Racism the Red Card award to Heidi in Year 7! Congratulations!
It was wonderful to attend the re-launched Memory Cafe at Drighlington Methodist Church, and to see so many people back to enjoying themselves.
Well done to all the fantastic volunteers who put on such a great event!
I really enjoyed seeing this amazing project, run by Morley Community Church, creating a community garden in Morley!
From a sea of brambles to blossoming fruit and flowers, I cannot wait to see how things develop!

Fantastic to see so much support from residents & so many local people employed here!
I really enjoyed this month's Friendship Cafe in Morley and meeting so many new faces!
As the bowls club venue is closed for the winter, I am investigating a new venue in Outwood to keep this great event going!
In my recent episode of Celebs with their Pets, I met with one of the nation's favourite faces - Chris Kamara (better known as Kammy).
In this episode, I visited Kammy at home in Wakefield, to hear all about his career, the pets which have shaped his life, and take a tour of his family farm.
