Many residents in Outwood and the surrounding area, particularly those closest to the proposed site, are concerned about the Council’s current plans for Outwood Train Station Car Park.
Residents are concerned about the proposals to make the car park free, which will likely lead to significant traffic from outside the local area. This will cause difficulties for local residents in terms of parking, and could also cost the Council approximately £90,000 per year.
As a result, residents and I want the Council to hold a full meeting that is open to all local residents, so that residents can outline their views and the proposals can be reconsidered if necessary.
