According to NHS Digital, at any one time a sixth of the population in England aged 16-64 have a mental health problem, meaning the chances are we all know someone who is affected. Thankfully, mental health awareness is increasing, and this is a welcome and positive change in our society.

I have written to Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs regarding the Dangerous Dogs Act, asking for a more rational approach to the legislation and for dogs not to be put down if they harmless but happen to be a certain breed. 

Andrea Supports Banning Cages for Farm Animals

I was pleased to attend the End the Cage Age event organised by Compassion in World Farming.

I joined 95,000 others who have signed a petition calling to ban the use of cages for all farmed animals.

Had a very informative meeting with the head of the South West Yorkshire NHS Trust today, good to pass on resident's comments and discuss improvements. Also visited the Fieldhead Mental Health Museum- thanks to Ash for showing me all the exhibits & great work they have planned!
