Yesterday, I was sanctioned by the Russian Government alongside 286 other members of the House of Commons. This comes as a response to the UK’s defiant defence of Ukraine’s sovereignty and freedom.
During PMQ’S, the Prime Minister, told sanctioned MP’s to wear this as badge of honour – and to take pride in the UK’s efforts to support the people of Ukraine.
I am beyond proud that our nation has led the Western charge for freedom, has come to the aid of an ally in need, and continues to stand – as we have done throughout history, as a shining beacon for freedom and democracy.
