Meeting Morley Fire Fighters

It was a pleasure to meet with some of our local fire fighters, to listen to some of their concerns and see if there was some way that I can support them. As you can see by my rather large grin on the photograph, there is something rather nice and comforting meeting five strapping lads! We are clearly in safe hands.

On a more serious note though, they do a cracking job, it is not easy and I truly believe that they need to be commended and recognised for the great work that they do. I do have some experience in working with Fire and Rescue as when I was a councillor I was the Executive Support Councillor for Community Safety which included working closely with Fire & Rescue teams.
