Christmas vibes in Morley and Outwood

The festive season is on its way and our local area offer a number of events for everyone. This weekend I’ve been to the St Peter’s Primary school’s Christmas fair in Stanley and to the Cats Protection league’s open day in Gildersome, offering support to our local charities. I also attended “Merry Drigmass”, which is becoming a Christmas classic in our area. Every local event in Drig is a success and is organised with unique passion by volunteers and local residents. On Saturday, I went to the Christmas Lights switch-on in Morley: our Town Hall looked stunning lit up and made us reflect on the history of our great town. Morley does really our area proud.
