“I’m looking forward to welcoming Google to Morley to host a Google Digital Garage event on 2nd November. I hope to meet as many local businesses and residents as possible to find out more about how digital skills can benefit my constituency, and our businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents”.
I was delighted to welcome Lord Callanan, Minister of State for Business, Energy and Corporate Responsibility to CLADE Engineering. CLADE are at the forefront of new sustainable technologies and are an industry leader in heat pump manufacturing. In February I opened their new multi-million pound factory in Gildersome Spur (https://www.andreajenkyns.co.uk/news/andrea-opens-new-engineering-facility) showing their commitment to – and confidence in – our growing local economy.
Investments of this nature also signify that Morley and Outwood’s micro economy is ahead of the trend and future-roofed against the inevitable challenges that the future holds.
I’ll be working with CLADE engineering to ensure that they’re able to grow here in our community and continue to be at the heart of the future of our economy.
Proud to represent the UK today at the G20 Education Ministerial Meeting, highlighting how our Skills for Jobs White Paper, Schools White Paper & success in digitalisation are supporting our shared aim to recover together & recover stronger.
