Campaigning since my selection

I was selected in an open primary on the 4th April that was chaired by Pudsey Member of Parliament Stuart Andrew.  Since my selection I have been getting around the area meeting with residents, businesses and community groups.

I have had several campaigning days and I would like to thank all the volunteers who came out to support me, especially out in the pouring rain. I have also spent time telephoning residents to get their views on both local and national issues.

I met with Sajid Javid Economic Secretary to the Treasury to discuss the local economy and business concerns.  I look forward to meeting you all along the way!
