As a passionate animal advocate, I’ve long championed the cause of animal rights. I welcome the new Animal Welfare (Importation of Dogs, Cats and Ferrets) Bill, which aims to stop puppy smugglers from importing sick and mistreated dogs. This is something I have advocated for with my petition on Reversing the decision not to proceed with the Kept Animals Bill.
