Andrea Nominates Hare & Hounds for Parliamentary Pub of the Year

I am happy to say I have nominated the Hare & Hounds pub for this year’s Parliamentary Pub of the Year competition!

This is a great looking pub, with its famous flowers on Batley Road that residents love!

It has a welcoming atmosphere and spacious beer garden, and has become a pillar of the community with its range of events and charitable actions, including raising money for a defibrillator which has already saved lives.

I was proud to congratulate Jackie, the landlady of this brilliant pub, earlier this year, who won ‘newcomer of the year’ award, and the hardworking team there deserve more praise!
