Andrea Marks Remembrance Day at Morley Central War Memorial

I was honoured to join those paying their respects at the Scatcherd Park War Memorial today, alongside veterans from across our community.

This also marked the first remembrance service that my son, Clifford, has participated in; having learned about World War One at school. I was delighted to see so many children at the service, as a large part of remembrance is ensuring that the next generation understands the sacrifices made by those who have come before.
