Andrea congratulates Breast Cancer Care fundraiser

The event, held at St Michael’s Church Hall in East Ardsley by breast cancer survivor and Tingley resident Joanne Harker, raised over £500 for charity. This is the third year Mrs Harker has held this fundraiser. The proceeds went to Breast Cancer Care, a UK wide charity who provide information and support for people affected by breast Cancer.

Andrea said “I’d like to congratulate Joanne on running a fantastic event, and on raising so much money for such an important cause. Joanne is an inspiration and has done much to raise awareness of breast cancer. The cookies her daughter made were also delicious.”
